Sailor's Bathtub

A wood chest with
rope handles was reawakened with nautical tableaux.
You can almost hear
the surf and feel wind in the ship's sails.
Painted on its top
in rope letters: "Sailing, sailing over the
bounding sea" and signed O.W.L
Decorated on 3 sides.
The back is unpainted. Lined in aged, painted
metal.
Furnished with a hole
for a stopper so as to be used for a bathtub.
Discovered in Belfast,
Maine and painted by a local artist there.
