The Seagull Gift Shop and Restaurant is located where the land of the Pemaquid Pennisula ends, just 14 scenic miles south of Damariscotta, ME. 
Our front yard is the rugged, beautiful, rocky Maine coast. Our next-door neighbor is one of the most photographed spots in the world, the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. You can take a break from your explorations of Lighthouse Park to stroll over to the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoy it amidst this spectacular scenery. We offer fresh seafood, local eggs and garden-fresh fruits and vegetables and, of course, for breakfast you owe it to yourself to try our world-famous blueberry pancakes. The Gift Shop carries souvenirs, nautical items, photos and paintings, and fine gifts to recall a visit to the ocean, Maine, and Pemaquid Point. Many of our items are hand crafted by Maine artisans. And, on many summer days you may meet one of our craftspeople as they demonstrate their craft and display their artwork on the lawn of The Seagull.

New Seagull Shop Owners Prepare For Opening

Tim and Betsey Norland have had a special place in their hearts for Pemaquid after first visiting the area together in 1980. Starting this summer, the Norlands’ annual trips will no longer be just as visitors, but also as the owners of the Seagull Shop.
The Norlands, of Lambertville, N.J., purchased the Seagull Shop, next to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park, from longtime owner Paula Houghton in March. Since then, the Norlands and Brooke Cotter, the general manager of the restaurant and gift shop, have been preparing for Mother’s Day weekend, when the business will open for the season. Pemaquid Point Webcam
For over ten years now the Seagull has provided the facilities required to operate the Pemaquid Point Webcam, along with help from the Pemaquid Point Association. The camera is located on a window sill here and operates all year, 24-hours-per-day. The camera catches weddings, snowstorms, fog, sailboats, even "Hi Mom" signs held by vacationers from all around the world. Logging on the webcam is the next best thing to being here.
